So I’m coming up with a non-lipstick post (YAY! Finally! LOL). This is coming from Estee Lauder and the product that I’m talking about is Invisible Powder Make Up in the shade 2WN2 Bamboo.
When the guy from Estee Lauder invited me to join the event, at the end of the show, I was given this make up powder as the goodie bag. Well, since I don’t really know about the quality of it, so here it is the review.

~ PACKAGING ~
This compact powder comes with the navy blue color as we know as Estee Lauder’s signature color. From the carton box until the powder case itself, it has the navy blue color. The case has the big logo of Estee Lauder embossed on the cap case. Powder container has 2 slots which 1 one them is for the powder and at the bottom you can pull up the powder container to see the sponge storage. At the very bottom case, you can see the sticker which contains info of the shade.
~ TEXTURE and FORMULA ~
The texture of the powder is soft enough though I can’t say it’s some kind of finely milled. But, the thing is, when you swipe your finger on it, you can feel the weightless touch right from your fingertip. The formula is claimed as mattifying, weightless and talc free which may advantages some people.
~ COLOR and PIGMENTATION ~
Bamboo or in the number of 2WN2 is a medium tan color. It suits me well since it has a strong yellow undertone. Though when I swatch it on my arm the color looks really warm, but I do believe that it can match well with my usual slightly lighter foundation since I always have problem with buying it as the market never really has the good color to match my skin tone; either smidgen lighter but when I look for the color below it, it’s really darker.
As the claim says the Invisible, means the powder does give a sheer coverage in my opinion. Right after the swipes I made with my fingertips, I really had to give some pressure in order to get the color pops and being caught by my camera. Though it seemed unlucky for me since the camera couldn’t catch the actual color, from the hand swatch above, you can tell that the powder is giving a subtle glow to make the feel of fresher and healthier and skin-like finish and that’s as much color as I could achieve to be seen on my camera. You can compare the sheen on the middle part of my hand above to other areas in between.
~ PRICE and PRODUCT AVAILABILITY ~
The price is about Rp500,000 ++ and you can get it at some major or high end malls in the neighborhood. It’s a quite bit pricey for me. But, I do think consider of buying it right after finishing this one because the invisibility it offers to skin which I never really find from a drugstore brands.
~ VERDICT ~
The fact that it is invisible finish powder makes me smile everytime I put it on my face. I mean, for daily purpose, this powder is really recommended. It will not cake your make up and the finish that you’ll achieve is really a skin-like one. Never too worry that you’ll put thick powder on.
From the longevity of staying power, I must say I can’t really count on this one as I think this powder is perfect for finishing touch or some kind of blotting powder. This is not for a super oily face. Even on me, which has a combination skin: normal to oily, I still can see the shine after 3 hours of wearing on my T-Zone where oils is supposed to be more productive on that area.
But, the thing is, even this powder is quiet pricey for something as daily use, I must say that I like this powder.
