Ahhh, it’s been a while… Don’t you know that by September 27th 2014 I attended a Beauty Blogger Meet Up organized by Carnellin, Meilina, and Tia? Yup that was the first ever of Beauty Blogger Meet Up held at Nanny’s Pavilion at Central Park, West Jakarta. I was the one who lucky enough to join as the meeting was opened for 20 bloggers only. And to be frank, it WORTH IT!!
Okay, for the teaser.. Here’s the summary of the goodies which were given by the sponsors.. Speaking about which, they were:
- Make Over
- V10 Plus
- Silky Girl
- Beauty Goods ID
- Kawaii Beauty Japan
- D’ Height Salon @ CP
And before the event was held, there was a pre event blog writing competition and you can read my entry in here.
Before moving on, I’d like to tell that during the event, we were obliged to give such live reports at our social media accounts and by that meant every session would have a winner (or two). I warn you here that you’ll see a longer post and picture talking.. Well, if you know what I mean, I don’t want to miss every single moment to tell you. 😀 😀 😀
♥ V 10 Plus ♥
First speaker comes from V10 Plus Indonesia. For you who don’t know much about this brand, let me tell you briefly. V 10 Plus is a Japanese Cosmetic brand which focuses on skin care. All the products were made naturally at Yokota Lab and clinically proven safe to use. Most ingredient of V 10 Plus product comes from water because they realize that water is the best component and important to human metabolism.
Oh, are you curious of what is that small and tall thing? Keep reading, I’ll tell you!
We were given 3 sachets of V 10 Plus water based peeling gel that help promoting the skin cells’ regeneration. This water based peeling is safe to use for any skin condition because they don’t do harm as many other will. We were encouraged to try it directly on the spot. To be frank, it gave the smooth effect after usage on the back on my hand versus the one which didn’t, plus that subtle glow.
♥ MAKE OVER ♥
Next, to the second speaker was a collaboration from Make Over and Mr. Endi Feng. You know what? Endi is my favorite of Indonesian make up artist. His works just are all awesome. Considering him as a beauty blogger as well, really makes me bounce to him in several events. So another chit-chat! (Psst, he recognizes my blog too!!!) LOL. In here, the subject he brought was about “10 Minutes Fab”, how you can achieve a fabulous result of make up without over doing it. There we go to the step by step through pics…
Endi said that most foundation color of most cosmetic brands in Indonesia don’t give a good range of choice, so, if you ended up to have a lighter foundation color (maybe 1 or 2 shade lighter) then have it on focusing to the center areas of the face (T-Zone areas and little bit under eyes) then blend it outwards. This will give an extra dimensional look and avoid the left-over foundation trapped on to your hair line.
The next suggestion on Endi’s work was pull up the brows a little bit (at the arch) then fill in by brow pencil. This will help to see the natural shape of the brow owner and avoid the brows to be one side higher arch. And for concealing matter onto the under eyes zone, he said it for all the eye bag girl (ehm, it’s me actually): put the foundation on, apply corrective concealer (orange), apply neutral concealer and set it with non-talc powder. This way also help to prolong the concealer wear and avoid creasing.
And here’s the goodies from Make Over… I love this brand.. Their eyeshadow is super creamy and pigmented as well as their eyeliner!
♥ Z A P ♥
The third session was from ZAP. Do you know ZAP? ZAP is a brand which established in 2009 focuses on hair removal. The technology of ZAP makes every client no longer feels the pain on hair removal, not like shaving, waxing or plucking.
It’s totally safe and approved by the international certification like FDA and CE. The difference of hair removing at ZAP is the procedure uses the lighting process. With the certain spectrum of waves light, ZAP continuously stop the hair growth at the desired areas right from the roots from treatment to treatment. So, beauty without pain? YES at ZAP!
♥ SALLY HANSEN ♥
Move to Sally Hansen session. In this time, (I forgot the name, sorry) the representative of Sally Hansen Indonesia talked about how it is finally available in Indonesia.
Yes, I remember way back then when Sally Hansen must be brought to Indonesia through some pre-order system which means the product is still directly imported by the seller itself. But now, since Sally Hansen distributed by Fleur Bleue to Indonesia so I will never be worry of the availability and the shipment process.. YAY!
♥ SILKY GIRL ♥
Then, it was from Silky Girl, the fourth one. It’s a brand from Malaysia and provides such a good range of cosmetics. I like them especially their eyebrow pencil and eyeliner gel. In here, Ms. Carryna Pratiwi collaborated with Silky Girl to give tips and tricks on using eyeliner for certain eye shape.
This session talks about eyeliner application. Let me point them out for you:
- Close-set eyes: eyeliner tapers toward the inner corner and thicken on the outer areas
- Wide-set eyes: eyeliner tapers toward the outer corner and thicken on the inner areas
- Big and round eyes (it’s me): winged liner/cat eye only on the upper lids
- Small eyes: double winged liner (upper and lower lids) but avoid full frame lower lid liner
♥ KAWAII BEAUTY JAPAN ♥
Then going on to the fifth session was Kawaii Beauty Japan time! Let me shorten it a KBJ. So KBJ is a specialized Japanese Beauty online media company, provides the latest and advanced Japan beauty information and products to all Indonesian female users. The concept of KBJ consists of three parts, Skin, Body and Heart. This is because We believe that true beauty doest come from always appearance, but also inside of yourself.
It was KBJ who did the “Most Kawaii Dress” choice and because I don’t think I would be the so-called Kawaii (cute –translate) the best effort that I could do was put on my cat ear head band. The result? The second one of the Most Kawaii Dress. Thanks KBJ, Thanks Yamato who chose me! :p
